The creation Process



​Corteo was my first creation with Cirque du Soleil. And I couldn't ask for better knowing I was going to work with a great director: Daniele Finzi Pasca. We worked closely with him & his team from Teatro Sunil. 

 

We spend a lot of time to look into each others eyes and extract the essence of who we are. Workshops on what is your intention and where is your attention.

Live each moment like if it was the first time and to keep your heart young. The spontaneity of our emotions! Never repeat something, always live it to it's fullest.

 

This is the place where I did grow, learn, cry, laugh, scream, love, hate, open up to something honest. 

Every layers being peeled off to finally find your essence... And finding where to work*

What I did on Corteo



Chandelier act

 

I started with a Chandelier act, a giant aerial apparatus.

Four women's hanging on tree Chandeliers and representing the pass loves of the dead clown (main character of the show).





Vocal Aerial Silk act

 

This act was my first to merge vocal with aerial work* 

A song writting by Maria Bonzanigo & lyrics by Daniele Finzi Pasca. Singing about nostalgia in italian, was the essence of this act. 



 

Singer



I've sang with so much passion & emotion and there was not doubt that Corteo was the right show for me to start as a professional singer. I sang in duet, later in group and other times in solo. A beautiful rich experience*
